Well it began as a "warm" evening in the Lobster Pot. The crowd was good and well supportive and it was definately a good time. Started around 745pm and played, what I call "kerplunking", basically just an acoustic with no vocal set. Started jammin around quarter of nine, and played two and a half sets. Wasn't lookin at the time (couldn't see the clock across the bar because I'm half blind) and announced I was going to take another break when I was actually supposed to finish for the night. :-) A great friend of mine, Guy Braisted (Liveforevernow) came up and did a song for the crowd after I finished (a "patriotic" song as he called it). A little Melloncamp. Good times. All in all I had a great time. I was really worried about my vocals, being that my throat was sore and felt like it was going to close up all week. But alas, I was thankfully able to pull off the tunes and have fun. Hope y'all enjoyed the show. Lookin forward to the next one! |
